essential oils for glandular fever

Hi can anyone recommend which essential oils to use for glandular fever? My 18 year old son has got it and I would like to use some in a diffuser to strengthen his immune system. I am thinking cinnamon, thyme, black pepper, lavender sort of thing but would really appreciate any suggestions if you have had experience of this. Our daughter got it at 17 and ended up for years with ME so I really don't want that to happen again.

Hi Melsy,

I would recommend chamomile and lavender which can also be used as a compress on the swollen glands. You could also use this combination when you give your son Reflexology.

I hope he feels better soon.
 
Hey Melsy, I also think Lavender would help him - Mountain fine lavender organic essential oil is a fantastic one. Also if he is having any problems breathing this is a fab one - Easy breathing organic essential oils blend for diffusers.

Hi, he is recovered from the illness phase but still suffering with exhaustion and muscle aching/weakness. Its sad to see. He wants to apply for jobs but hasn't the energy to contemplate working all day or every day. I tried fragonia as this was recommended. Also Helichrysum and Rosewood worked well for a while.
