I think I'll do a drive by in the daytime to see some of the areas listed by Barbarossa and decide if they have a layout I am comfortable with then go from there. I have been to some very sketch areas in the states and have learned quite a bit from my mistakes. As a resident of Dublin, I can tell you that this info is spot on. Only thing I would add is that there are numerous escort sites, and some of the girls appear on more than one site. There are usually quite a few girls "visiting" Dub for a 2-3 week "tour of duty", usually from Eastern Europe.

There is sporadic street action: Around the Burlington hotel and along Burlington road, around Lad Lane, Landsowne Road, around Mespil and Fitzwilliam...but not advisable - rough areas and often rough girls/junkies, areas are patrolled by the Gardai (Police) which will harass mongers, plus chances that you are going to be mugged/robbed by someone or even by the girl.

Stay away from the lap dance clubs - you will only be ripped off and you won't score.

If you narrow it down it will be escorts (some already for 50 Euro for half an hour) or trying to pick up a freebie in the Temple bar area or in one of the above mentioned meat markets.

thanks - i did get an opportunity to meet one of the ladies on the site referenced, it was fun, but love the adventure of finding civilians, no luck so far still working on it chaps.
