Drinks at Idem

Was at IDEM May31 at 4pm. 3 girls there none particularly great so I ordered a drink to think about it . Bourbon on the rocks. invited Sophia for a drink. She ordered white wine which came in about a 2 ounce glass. She took one sip and said lets go, which I did. The bar tender said that will be 3500 colones for your drink and 3200 for the ladys wine. Yikes !! $14 for 2 drinks. Only paid 2500 for same drink at the Centerfold night club. Any way Sophia provided good service and a nice personality.

Idem is not the best place to enjoy an adult beverage. Drinks have always been on the pricey side there.

If you were to join as a VIP, you would have been entitled to the 2 for 1 drink special. I have in the past been allowed to use my 2nd drink for the lady, with Roberto's blessing of course.

Good to hear Sophia made up for the sticker shock.

I only drink water so I find it cheaper to go in with a bottle of water and just buy the chica I select a drink. I do the interview sometimes while she drinks usally a good icebreaker. :wink:

A bottle of water is 800-1k. Idem wouldn't charge 2k. At least I don't think they would try. Most places (incl SL and ZB) charge 1k which is already overpriced, considering it costs about 300أ‚آ¢ at Mas x Menos.

You don't get both drinks at once, unless you are really thirsty. Once you finish your first one, you can order another free of charge. They usually keep a tab (using a small card) next to your drink.
