thanks for the info. i will be travelling to Eire in a couple of weeks and heard nothing but bad things. i guess i will just do it the old fashioned way of hit and miss. R

I've been to Dublin a few times and I've never had to pay a cent.

Just go to any bar with a lot of people and join in the fun. Sit and talk to the girls and generally have a good time. With a foreign accent you'll get along great with the locals and you'll certainly go home with a girl. If the girls aren't interested in you they'll tell you....so just move along to the next girl or the next bar. Go to a city centre area called Temple Bar...heaps of pubs and clubs there and lots of tourists around so you won't feel out of place. The girls are also used to talking to tourists so you'll be fine.
