I just use an mp3 because I've never needed the iPod's functionality, but my sister has one, and she really wants to load music on it. Getting the stuff isn't a problem (and yes, I know in many places it is illegal. Fortunately in Canada, for personal use, it is not.)..... Anyhow, can somebody please give me DETAILED instructions on how to get a song, a plain .mp3 file (or .mp4, if you so wish) onto an ipod?

Please, I have absolutely no idea how this is done, and I'd really like to be able to help her.
