Ironicly, one of them was the very same monger who was behind the threat to cheap charlie that started this thread!

There is just a small group of individuals (read misfits) incapable of expressing themselves intelligently...that resort to threats...because they seem incapable of handling things differently.

Unfortunately you need to watch out for these guys as they tend to run hot and cold and can get instigated and upset over things that rational sober people would never get bothered by.

Well the felon I was talking about offered to chin check more then just one person. I don't know what felony he committed but I bet it wasn't a victim less crime, and I wonder if pipes or baseball bats were involved? The guy seemed to know about Mexican gang life and prison tattoos. Could be he is a pussy cat now hence his name " here kitty Kitty?' But what stands out to me was one of his very first post he was looking to meet up with mongers in TJ to show him the ropes! Now that's just scary!

You know we are always talking about TJ cops and muggers to look out for, just like every parent is terrified of child molesters and strangers, but the real problem is usually another family member or close friend...those are the people you should be looking out for. This is why I think it's important to talk about people we least suspect would cause any trouble to fellow mongers.

Lets face it prostitution is a deadly profession and very few prostitutes escape getting beat from at least one client in her professional life. Sampson above anyone else here knows what happens to some of the hookers, even the ones he works with and it's not just beatings, but stalking behavior and very bad verbal abuse. The fact is some of us mongers just aren't very nice, and we have a few sick puppies among us, along with delusional mongers consumed with jealousy, and like ScatManDoo said rat packs all liquored up is a new concern.

Yes Sampson is right also when he says, often guys with tuff guy internet personalities are just plain nice guys in person. But I never hugged anybody, maybe shook their hand, but never any hugging; and again most mongers are really nice guys, I'm only talking about a few.

I happen to be a felon...my crime was transporting an illegal alien across the border.

The felon in question is a super nice guy, who lived a crazy life when he was younger. He now is gainfully employeed....He offered a "chin check" to a guy...he has been in the company of that guy since without incident. He has changed his lifestyle quite a bit since his crazy days.

All the same Fireballs offers some good advice. I have met some really nice people in these fiestas. Often guys with tuff guy internet personalities are just plain nice guys in person.

I even remember seeing Fireballs shake hands and hug a guy he routinely has issues with on the internet.

Well killit, you are assuming that mongers will always act rationally.
Trust me... That's definitely not always the case.

I can certainly see some weak minded mongers exhibit "gang" mentality when they like to hang in groups in La Zona getting all liquored up.

The guy who initially posted about getting threatend in La Zona had his thread pulled after only a few hours. Those moderators at another site did a disservice to their readers by pulling it. But frankly, at some other sites, that's expected.

Here at mpnet we enjoy very fair-minded moderation from what I have seen. But at other sites, with far less professional and even-handed moderation, if a thread casts some buddies in a bad light...it gets pulled despite the informational qualities the thread contains.

See FB I agree with you on many points.(Thats why I always go alone.And If I do go with somebody its nobody from the fourms.)But I fill that most monger would rather commit a crime in the u.s.a before they commit one in TJ.The reason is the complain about the cops when they haven't done anythnig.So image when they do, do something and also the legal syetem inTJ
if they do something bad they know their not get realse in a few hours.

He has already challenged about 3 or 4 guys to meet him in TJ so he could set them straight, he says his nick name on other forums ' Hey Kitty Kitty' so you just know you rather not meet someone like this. I myself through the years received many threats, and again even last week on another forum someone was harassing me following around online, because of my views of America, Mexico and police corruption in Tijuana. He was calling me a fucking idiot asshole, America hater, and a apologist to TJ cops! He felt it was his duty to protect the newbies at the site, and wanted them to only follow his warnings, as he called other guys idiots too. ( I don't know what happened to this guy but he was ready to blow a gasket, and I'm sure a personal threat was going to come my way?)

So here is what I suggest you do when you go to TJ and meet follow hobbyists. Exchange handles, or true first names only. Do not exchange business cards, do not exchange last names. If later you find out the guy is a freak, or worst you fuck his favorite and he wants to come after you he won't know where to find you or call you in the middle of the night asking you if it's true he fucked his favorite? Now later after seeing the guys a few times in the zona, and getting to know them I see nothing wrong with exchanging phone numbers and business card, but I just don't think it's a good idea to do in the first meeting.

A good rule of thumb to know if you hang out with guys in TJ is don't fuck their favorites, or if you do make sure it's behind their back and they never find out about it.......as that's the quickest way to get them to turn against you. Even if they tell you they don't care about the girl, don't believe it, and take her upstairs while he is in the bar.

I'm sure most of you have heard about Megan a 13-year old who suffered from depression and attention deficit disorder who committeed suicide over a cyberbully who pretended to be friends with Megan online, but then abruptly ended the friendship calling her cruel who wasn't nice to her friends. After this Megan killed herself, and it turns out the 'friend' was really a made up hoax by a cruel cyberbully.

Well I'm sorrry to report the same thing is going on in Tijuana in the zona along with prostitution sites, names and bars that will remain nameless. I;m sorry to report in this case we are talking about grown up men not little 13 year old girls, but them again I'm not sure?

Usually these types of cases start online and stay there, but this case started in a TJ bar. A certain group of guys who hang out in a bar told this monger, who calls himself a 'cheap Charlie' to quit hanging around them when he is in TJ. Most of these discussions happened online after the bar get togethers, where it got pretty ugly as words were exchanged along with outragous tales what the others were doing, it was so bad the site host pulled the plug on the site!

Well to make a long story short, the 'cheap Charlie' invited any mongers to a bar in the zona, saying he was paying for drinks. Now Cheap Charlie already knows these other guys don't like him and has kept his distance from these guys, and the bar they hang out in. Turns out these other guys caught wind that Cheap Charlie was in another bar and surprisely buying drinks( it could also be these bullies were there on their own?). So these TJ & Cyberbully's made their way to the bar Cheap Charlie was in and sat at a table. They were drinking and carrying on, but they also summoned over a waiter over and told the mesero to deliever a message to Cheap Charlie, and that message was, ' THE GUYS AT THE TABLE WANT TO PUNCH YOU OUT!" Later the mesero walked up to Cheap Charlie again, and wanted to know if he knew those guys, and if they were kidding, Cheap Charlie told him, yes I know them, and I'm not sure if they were kidding or not?

I'm pretty sure these guys were just drunk and kidding around, but it's not a cool thing to do in TJ, although I'm on record saying TJ is pretty safe, there are certain things about TJ that can make it very dangerous, and talk like this isn't funny, even if your just fooling around. I hope these guys apologize to cheap Charlie for their bad taste in jokes.

Cheap Charlie asked that I relay the dangers of meeting mongers in the zona, as he said other sites allow you to talk about all the dangers of TJ cops, TJ muggers, and others, but not something as important as rateros siting in bars causing problems. Cheap Charlie tried to get this story out in other places but a MOD with a trigger finger and friendly with the bar rateros quicly made it disappear.
