Do you know anything for making 1-month old born-premature baby stop crying.
The baby cries non-stop, 24/7, and seems to be in pain with her tummy, it is hard and it is difficult to even burp her. Mom doesn't have milk so the baby eats special formula without lactose. She seems to sleep only when totally exausted from crying. She twists her entire body, twists the back and her neck, as if in intense pain. Also has some spots on her face. The doctor says it is colic and it is normal and that the spots are some normal thing, but I heard this kid on the phone - she is in PAIN. Something is bothering her.
What relaxes her is the sound of hair drier, sploshing sounds, being carried around, sleeping on her stomach, going in a stroller outside is kinda effective, massaging tummy after bath helps for a while. Otherwise, touching her tummy, or her back, or feet for reflexology makes her scream. Aromatherapy so far was ineffective. Tried gentle baby essential oil from Young Living.
When i talked with her dad over the phone, the baby fell asleep, she likes the rhytm of speech and also a certain energy of love. As soon we paused with negative energy, she woke up.
ANY IDEAS?
Thanks!
