Sorry to butt in, but I think what Khuu is saying is that are and will always be more attractive women than well-to-do men available. Even though there will be a demographic shift towards males, most of those males will be poor (and non-college grads) and no attractive Chinese woman will settle to live a life with a poor Chinese guy if there is something better. If you check my post under "Outcall for beginers" I think its hit or miss. The prices aren't great usually 280 for massage then another 500-700 for the girl. I have had both bad and great experiances. In general you can find cheaper if you get of your butt and go out. But sometimes you just don't feel like it. If they're published in English and it's obviously catered towards foreigners who don't speak Mandarin and most likely they'll find some way or scheme to charge you excessively and find a way to clean your wallet since you don't speak Mandarin. And what i mean by cleaning your wallet is that they'll have ridiculous hidden charges and fees that they'll throw at you. Examples would be: tips for the girl, tips for mamasan, taxi fees, room fees (if you're going to their place), etc. The prostitution industry in Shanghai is very scandalous especially towards foreigners who don't know how to negotiate. I'm sure they'll provide you the sex service but i won't bet you'll have a good bargain.

It's sad to say foreigners are an easy and profitable target. So please be careful and negotiate EVERYTHING!!!....even down to the nitty gritty. Make sure you tell the mamasan/papasan you'll pay after the service if not walk away and go straight to a suana and get laid there.
