Here you go Mepeter another choke holding story involving a decoy girl. The story is a couple of months old. la “llave china” (Chinese key) is I guess suppose to be the choke hold. The story also mentions the "Monitos" hotel, the infamous street walker hotel just south of the Chicago club. The good thing is most mongers avoid "street walkers' and that hotel.

This team was probably involved in quite a few muggings.

The new MO the rateros were using from the Mexican papers, and I'll try to find the articles, is different than when you were mugged Mepeter. The last few stories had a few better than average looking "street walkers" or friends of the rateros try to get a monger to the hotel and then they would apply the choke hold in private. There was the other article that just distracted the monger, and then the ratero(s) would come and mug the victim.

Come to think of it I was in the outskirts of the zona Monday and a "walker" tried to get me to go with her, and hanging in the back were two Mexican dudes who looked like they were up to no good, but they didn't bother me but I kept my eyes on them.

Now if it were a contract killing that would be another thing all together? But the criminals I talked too or heard about, are always saying they are innocent.

Unfortunately if you're hearing this from the streets, it's probably true , and those guys were probably just robbing him after the fact . But it's also probably true that the police know who really killed the guy.

People are saying that the arrested guys were actually not guilty of the murder, but found him dead and were caught when going through his pockets.

Calm down Mepeter it's kinda a old story a few weeks old, and it was a local Mexican and we don't know what his involvement was or was it a random mugging/killing?

The mugging happened after Sampson and the committee emailed the Tijuana tourist board, and had a meeting with the Chief of Police in Tijuana.

There are some that believe after the choke hold death that the police in TJ took the choke holds serious and re-opened the police station and put more police in the zona. Some believe Sampson and the committee made TJ safer with their previous meeting, and I say it was you Mepeter, because after the rateros got you...... things were taken seriously????

Who really knows? But I just visited TJ last Monday, and never felt safer.

I was just talking on the phone to a member of one of the other TJ forums this evening, and he said apparently about three weeks ago a gringo was put in a choke hold in front of the Tropa and died of strangulation. Is this true or a rumor? He also said that's probably why there is a big police presence once again in the zona.
