I drove over to 351 Parkhurst on the last Wednesday last month. It was snowing which blanketed the shopping centre with a surreal sheet of white. My primary target was West Drive. When I drove through the parking lot, I made note of the fact that Hands from Heaven, Escape, Atlantis and Airport Golden Spa were all within a literal stone's throw from one another. May I note that the Airport Golden Spa was doing a brisk business with a constant stream of patrons entering and leaving while the other spas were quiet. I noted also that the young ladies from Hands from Heaven carried on the tacky practice of smoking outside attended by young punks trying to make time with them. To me, that would be an absolute turnoff from entering their premises.
Around the corner and immediately next door to the Airport Golden Spa was the West Drive Spa. I entered the place and was immediately met by Cathy, a blonde Eastern European lady in her mid-forties. She was slim with enhanced knockers and not unattractive. The door fee was $40.
The massage was comforting and pleasant. Her chat was general small talk. When I asked her about items not on the menu, she demurred. The finish was adequate. I tipped her $40 with an additional $20 for her niceness. All in all, it was a pleasant massage parlour type of visit.
