I wrote a poem for an Anthology for my English class but my computer replaced every character with squares and now I have to re write it. I liked the first poem I wrote but I can't remember the line I used to introduce the aliens and I can't think of one that sounds as good. The whole plot is aliens are basically gods who created Earth and all other beings as an experiment (the reader never finds out what) but they conclude that were a miserable failure so they take all the resources (specifically the sun) and a few "perfect' humans to try again. The whole world is in a state of disarray and basically turn into animals and kill each other. The below poem was the rough draft. I would also appreciate some structure advice. It's supposed to be a metal song really, so don't be afraid to use a gruesome word.
Xenophobes have known for years
What would become a horrific reality
Civilization to savagery
A serpentine order
(Introduction of aliens)
This break of dawn will be the last
Humans live as feral animals
No longer unified
Humanity demoralized
Creationism in its sickest form
