That all people are equal. Islam was the first book to introduce that EVERY one is equal. It also introduced the big bang theory and numerous other scientific theories that still have yet to be proven.
@ asker- Really? It is no different than the muslim zakat. Just a different name. In the modern world we have taxes on EVERYTHING. Plus, the quran says many times that we are equal, and should treat each other as such. Unfortunately, too many people do not follow the actual words of the quran.

The only verse I saw from the Quran was 33:50. In my translation, it doesnt say 'slave'.

All the principles in the Quran were introduced to Adam from God in the begining of time so no, i cant. Islam is reaffirming and reminding us of the covenant that the children of Adam made when God created Adam.

Sorry i didnt see the second part of your question, a good thing that was introduced by the quran would be the details in which the quran instructs on in behavior. The obligations for prayer, inheritance, finances, treaties, food, witnesses, dress, speech, dealing with parents, family, neighbors and basically all behavior and prohibitions too.

Islam came as a final reminder of how we are supposed to be and act. I hope this helps you in your search for information.
