Can i wear makeup if i wear contact lens? I'm a newbie (HELP)?

I heard people said yes, i can wear makeup when i wear contacts. but what if the makeup powder accidentally get into the eye(contact lens)? or anything get into the eye. will it cause infection or anything?

i'm so sorry for asking too much. but since i started wear contacts few days ago, i'm being really CAUTIOUS about this. i always careful of everything when i wear contacts and i even scared to put foundation. because it is my eye and i;m a newbie so im pretty afraid something happen to my eye.

can any of you give me some advice?

I wear contacts all the time and wear eyeliner and stuff like that and I never had problems with it. Its eye makeup and eye makeup is safe even with contact lens. You know that stuff that cleans your lens before wearing them? Just use that and and your eyes wont get infected

yes, if you get makeup into you eye just use eye drops or something cause sometimes it sticks to your contact which is annoying

Yes you can.
first wash your hands, face and wear contact lens. Then start applying the makeup.
later remove your lens and then clean the makeup. I suggest you not to have too much of mascara/liners on your eyes. Keep them simple and neat. Always carry AllTears drops with you. Whenever you feel dry or irritation then apply few drops into the eyes. There is no other problem i think. Do not wear lens for more than 10 hours per day.

i can understand your concern.
I don't wear contacts or glasses but i have a lot of friends who do and they seem to wear all the same makeup they used to ( even foundation)
just make sure you have eyedrops if your eyes get irritated and try not to be so paranoid. the more you worry about something the more chance it will happen to you. but at the same time, don't be TOO care free lol

ur concern is understandable.. but theres absolutely nothing wrong with applying makeup with contacts on. quite a few times while removing my eye makeup i managed to get the makeup remover on my lens.. if something liek this happens or u manage to get the makeup in ur eye, put 2 drops of lens solution on it.. even if theyre on! this will disinfect and clean ur lens.

Yes you can don't worry!!
Just make sure to apply your makeup after you've put in the contact lenses
You can wear just the same makeup as you did before, but if you're worried, just don't wear mascara for a while maybe? That's the only makeup which I have ever had problems with
Also make sure that you always have some contact lens solution with you

Make up first because if you do makeup after putting the contacts in, you might accidentally get some in your eyes and then you're screwed (not really but you know).
