Can I introduce a nursing mum to my existing cats?

I have been looking after a mum and 4 kittens in my spare room that I rescued from somebody's cellar where she had been dumped! The kittens are now 6 weeks old and mum is getting quite restless about being shut in the spare room, and I feel terrible she doesn't have any interaction with us whilst she is shut in there.
I have 5 of my own cats, so its a busy household, but I was wondering if its ok to let mum come out and meet my cats, or if this could be harmful to the kittens?
Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
No, I know were not dealing with raptors! I just dont want mum to turn on the kittens...
