Bulgarian Pimping Rapper Faces More Years

Ivan Glavchev, a Bulgarian rap star jailed for pimping, faces an appeals court on Tuesday.

The case was referred back to court with a possibility for extending Glavchev's 12-year sentence.

The performer was jailed in 2003 for forcing women into prostitution. The crime ring also involved Glavchev's father and a cousin, and stretched over much of Europe.

A duo with rapper Misho Shamara had made Glavchev, a.k.a. Vanko 1, a hit-producing artist.

but had not tied the knot before his imprisonment. It was in jail where the celebrity and his girlfriend contracted a marriage.
