Boji Stones

I have a friend who belongs to one of the writer's groups I belong to. She is she is very intuitive and empathic and has read on the net about Boji stones. She's read that it provides psychic protection from invasive energies and people in your environment. I'm not sure if any of you have heard of them, but figured if there was anywhere I could get the 411 about them, this would be the place!Have any of you heard of them? Do they really work? Can you recommend somewhere that she could find a good set of them?

I'm about to express a personal opinion about these stones, just so you all know...

These are rocks that someone has pulled out of the desert and said some blessings/prayers/whatever over. I've heard various stories that the process invites energies in, that are not always very pleasant.

I've actually had a couple of customers state they won't go near them at all!   :-/

There is a certificate of authentication that goes with them, and you are not allowed to sell them without this person's permission. They can be ridiculously expensive for what they truly are. I've seen pairs go for several hundred dollars for a pair less than 3".

Yes you can "find" them on eBay, but they are not really boji stones. Some of them are actually moqui balls. Out of the 9 listings currently up on eBay only one set are really boji balls, but do not come with the certificate.

However there are stones called Moqui Balls (also called Shamen stones, Mocchi Balls with other various spellings sometimes called marbles too). These stones have a very high metal content compared to the surrounding Earth.

We have found them (Moqui Balls) to be very balancing, comforting, and healing. I would acutally love to be able to stock more of them, but they are hard for us to find. They should be bought in pairs too.

You can find them on eBay if you search "mochi balls" and I think she would be far better off with these.

Normally I wouldn't be so against a stone, but there are only a couple of stones that I feel strongly people should not be using. This is one of them.

A good question...Another stone I won't work with, though we have sold a couple in the past we will not any longer, is moldavite. A lot of people love it, I can honestly say I really haven't found a piece with energy that I like. It feels weird to me, not normal. It does not feel stable. I've heard mixed reactions to this stone. Its a love it or hate it thing. I guess you can put me on the hate it side. We tried to have some in stock to overcome personal prejudices. However we didn't like having it in the house even.    That is the one that comes to mind at the moment.  :-/

THE BOJI STONE
The Boji® Stone is the philosopher stone of the ancient Alchemy. The rock we chose to become a Boji® was rusting and rotting away. (It was dying). Normal rocks and crystals do not behave this way. Yes I believe in crystal spirits, but this just doesn't feel right.

I have had people tell me of wonderful experiences with these stones. I acutally have a set now, and feel no attraction to them. Truly I haven't even wanted to explore their energies.

I am one of these people :wink: . I know this thread is about Boji stones but just wanted to pop in and mention my preference for moldavite/tektite since no one else has. My experience so far with any and all crystals/minerals/gems/rocks has been limited to my own personal use, growth, enlightenment, and healing.
