Im in the process of introducing my male boxer dog to a boxer bitch that im hoping if they get on will live with us. My male boxer is as daft as a brush and is used to other dogs and the bitch is from a home with another dog. They have meet today both on leads and they both got a little aggressive such as growling and pawing eachother in the face. I want them to meet again shortly but in a safe manner. Been giving so much advice such as have them on leads, don't have them on leads
Which is right?
Ladystan.... Im not breeding them both have been done! And ive read up its better to keep opposite sex's together! Thanks for your answer!
Hi walking lady ") Thank you for your answer. My male was showing off his size to her by going to his side. She wrapped her front legs around his neck they kind of both went like statue's them one would get annoyed and growl. Im just afraid of letting them off leads in case they do fight and one gets hurt. But next time i will try a baby gate in between them as you said being on leads might be making them feel trapped making the situation worst for them !
