Bar Jupiter, Alajuela

I'm new to the Forum, but not new to Costa Rica and so was surprised when a search for Bar Jupiter got no results.

Bar Jupiter is a tico bar with upstairs rooms. It opens at 3pm and today had a choice of about 7 women. All were young, 3 of them very attractive, the rest OK and only 1 that was sort of trashy looking.

The fee for a half hour is 7,500, 2,500 for the room and a condum which is paid at the front of the bar near the the door to upstairs, and 5, 000 paid to the lady of your choice after.

The rooms are small, clean and there is a shower at the end of the hall.

Covered only and a bit hurried, one would have to develop a friendship to get a really great time, but a nice time in Alajuela that I would have thought someone would have told everyone about.

Exactly how does this post sound like an advertisement? :? The guy posted basic info on hours, prices, quality of chicas, quality of rooms and service. I see no promotion in the post, Irish. Why do you?

Actually, this post piqued my interest and was wondering its location. I assumed if the poster was a shill, he would have given the location and phone number for the fine establishment.

Ad or not whats the address of this place. One of my chics live in Alajuela so I can drive by this place when I drop here home.

I do not know the address. I was in Alajuela shopping and came across the place. Had heard of it and so had a beer and asked some questions.

Just ask a taxi driver or any guy on the street. It is in the downtown area.

I wonder if I write another description and review of a place that that one will be referred to as an Ad also? Maybe this forum has become too "insider" and cherishes the slam the newbie more than accept new information.

I hope you really don't feel that way. Some guys around here seem to have nothing better to do than to react with suspicion, derision or friction...please ignore these few for the sake of the rest of us. And, as I said before...thanks very much for a great new piece of intel.

Bar Jupiter, Alajuela

Guys who spend a lot of time in Costa Rica don't spend all of their time in a small section of San Jose -- or at the beach.

Some would like to know what might be going on in Heredia or Alajuela, so I appreciate the post on Bar Jupiter for that reason. A search of the CRT forum for Alajuela has previously come up with zero hits. A little help for new residents, not just gringo tourists, is always welcome.

While some skepticism is warranted, particulary when no specific location is mentioned, I still appreciate any mention outside of the close-knit HLH, SL, NF, and HDR clique. At first I thought the entire CRT organization was a creation of these San Jose establishments, with a few extra discount crumbs. I don't think that way anymore, but I sure would like to read more about other spots in the Central Valley, places that are nearby and convenient.
