Fourth time to Bar Camelot but first time I actually took a girl. Great local drink prices, beers 500c, mixed drinks a bit higher. Drink menu on a large board on the wall. Easy to miss if you are walking along the street, but climb up a flight of stairs into the main bar. Very close fitting room, with bar in the center and stools surrounding. The price is 6000c/30 minutes for a girl.

I did not understand the protocol initially, but after I approached the girl and she accepted we walked out of the bar area, through a closed door, and into the foyer where the rooms for sex are located. I gave her 6000 c. She went back into the bar (I followed), where she paid the bartender the appropriate fee, then back to the room we went. Climbed up a spiral staircase. First impressions...very clean, well lit, but basic room, with bed and mattress. Even a private shower area in the room with a big bar of soap. Very nice and accomodating girl, but nothing particularly special. I would certainly return here again for sex. Very hit and miss, and that is why it took four tries before I was in the right place at the right time. Otherwise. lots of local men just drinking. jb666

try them out for a lousy $12.00, find someone you like and arrange a 2-3 hour session in your room.

I was with Melissa at Bar Camelot a month ago. Very sexy girl, and a very nice provider. I agree, the rooms are very clean (yet basic). A fun place to drink and hang out, on the cheap.

Camelot is not for everyone but definitley one of my hangouts.They get really busy with ticos right after work Thursday to Saturday night. 3 to 5 is good time to visit just as chicas are arriving. Usually winds up being half dozen or so chicas there to chose from.rbc100

I was in that joint about 2 yrs ago, I went at about 10pm and was freaking out on the way cuz I was flying solo. Not a good idea.... especially after a few berrs. There were only 4 fugly chicks.....

I tried it one afternoon about 4 pm. The place was full of local ticos drinking and a couple of available girls which I would rate well below my minimum standard. However the female bartender was very attractive

I spent about five or six afternoons there my last trp. I was given phone numbers by two of the bartenders; they seemed to be on the program, but not for services there..YMMV on that one, but that was my sense..It is a great place to drink and hang out, get to know the locals, and a quick sesson if the mood hits...A place like this is more typical of many working girl bars throughout Central America, spedt a few hours and see if people don't warm up to you (of course, you have to be warm yourself)..Buy the bartenders a drink, buy a patron a drink, relax, try to speak some spanish even if if your skills are limited, and THEN tell me what you think.. Yeah, this is not the place to go for a guarenteed all star sesson with a 10..however, there are some cute girls from time to time, and you get to be treated like a human being, not a peice of meat, as sometimes I feel like in the gultch...

Good answer CRbound, I go there every trip as well. It is my Sunday morning stop about the earliest place to open Sundays with brothel opening at 11 but bar doesn't usually open to 12.rbc100
