AMP Virgin - Best time to go for first visit?

I'm an AMP virgin, and I'm wondering if anybody has any suggestions on the best day and time to go. I'm thinking late afternoon or early evening on a Wednesday or Friday. Would either of those be good?

Any time you go to an AMP is a good time.

Seriously though, this topic has been discussed ad nauseum (sp?).

Please read the stickies and do a little research on your own.

There is a wealth of information at the top of this forum.

You've been on the board for a year and a half and this is the first time you post anything?

Surely you've been lurking and learned something during that time?

I've found that guys like you who ask these questions that have been answered a hundred times, are just looking for the courage to take the plunge. Like so many other guys who had to work up the courage (I'm one of them) that first time, you'll wonder why you made such a fuss about it.

Anytime will be fun, but early afternoon/early evening is likely to prove to be more relaxed. Early mornings lots of the girls are still sleepy and late evenings (especially weekends) cen be very busy.

If you go about 30 mins. before the game starts it will probably be empty. You have enough time to do what you need to and then get back home to watch most of the game.

On my first visit, I drank a couple of beers in a nearby bar and then sat in my vehicle, in the parking lot across the street from the amp for a few minutes before actually going over there. Nervous and scared as hell. Haha. Being nervous and scared goes away pretty quickly though.

All of my visits (except 1) were between 10 PM and 11:30 PM midweek. I never had a problem and was able to see who I wanted. Of course, I called ahead each time and made an appt.

Be like Nike....Just do it.

I still don't see why so many guys who already hobby and go to indies stress over their first AMP visit so much.

My first AMP visit was to Choice One (closed down during the Black Friday raids) at 75 and Midpark, on a Saturday at 11 am. I walked in not knowing what in the hell to expect. After the massage, the girl whispered in my ear, "you want everything?" and it was on.

Personally, I'm much more nervous going to an indie incall for the first time than I am going to a new AMP.

I think the biggest thing for me was fear of the unknown. I didn't know what to expect the first time I ever walked into an AMP. Back then, I didn't have the luxury of helpful and informative boards like this one and ASPD. You also have the unreasonable fear of thinking that everyone in the world is watching you walk in.

Lucky for me, my first time, the lady (MILF) was very well versed in taking care of newbs and she proceeded to make me feel very comfortable and took very good care of me. I was hooked from the getgo. Sadly, that isn't always the case.

Another "fear factor" for a lot of guys is the fear of getting "caught" doing something they're not supposed to be doing, especially when there's a SO involved.

But once you get over that initial fear and uncertainty, a whole new world opens up to you.

I still remember my first amp visit. It was years ago in Austin.

I was probably a bit nervous going in, but I still recall the feeling as I left.

My head was spinning and I felt like "My gosh. Did that really happen?"

She was really, really gorgeous, and it felt like about the most exciting thing that had ever happened to me in my life. I went back the next night by the way.

7th my guess is the actual physical location of the visitation, with indy's the visit may be either in a discreet and undisclosed apartment or hotel room rather than a stand alone building that has signage depicting specific symbols and words pertaining to adult entertainment. I've read many times guys describing the "walk of shame" while walking from their cars to the entrance, and also knowing LE may be around the corner.

But in regards to the best time to visit, I would avoid Friday and Saturday nights all together, if you can only visit on the weekend probably around noon time into late afternoon; during the weekday mid afternoon is usually a slow time before the 5:01 and happy hour crowd starts making their way in!!

I concur. When I went to N. Silver Spa the other day, I parked in the strip mall parking lot and walked in like I was going to the Dollar Store. When walking into an Indie, I'm always wondering if she looks like her pictures, if her incall is clean and welcoming, will she be able to carry on a conversation afterward or will she just talk incessantly about her problems, etc.
