This is how I do it. If I head down by my self. get to the border at 10m. Park on the american side. Park in a well lit section of the parking lot. I will leave $20 dollars in the auto as a backup. I have gotten sick of the lack of info in the COI forum so said screw it and have just gotten back from 4hr TJ adventure. Hit the Zone around 7pm and headed straight Adelitas. I was suprised to see about 6-1 ratio of guys to girls... I am used to seeing like 1-1 when I have went at later times in the evening. Pickings look decent, but nothing out of the ordinary, so walk out and continue my search.

Next, went to Hong Kong. Suprisingly, place is off the hook. 7 HOT chicks all around dancing on top of seforum.xxxe, bars, tables, etc. I think it was some kind of show or something, not too sure. Last time I went there, there were 2 chicks on top of an audience guy giving him a whipped cream treatment.Anyway, the girls all look kind of busy dancing, so I walk out and continue.

The street chicks by Hong Kong are out in full force. Theres got to be at least 30-40 of them, and there is a whole lot of new faces. Quite alot of jail bait too though. First time I have seen the street show up the big clubs. Anyway, turn the corner back to Adelitas, and see some of the ugliest abuelitas I have ever had the displeasure of laying my eyes on (it disturbs me to even describe them and use the word "laying" in the same sentence). Continue on, hit Chicago. Around the same amount of girls as Adelitas, but a hell of alot less guys. Crowd wise, I have always liked Chicago. I hate having to squeeze past a million people just to bleed the lizard sometimes. Music alot better at Chicago too (if you like HIp Hop that is). See many familiar faces, nothing special, except for two white looking girls at a table together. Imagine 2 blonde midwest girl-next-door types... except dressed in slutty TJ attire (god bless those TJ tailors).

Not feeling like american food, so continue on. Try Adelitas again, but no change. Start getting REALLY adventurous, and start trying those places to the right of Adelitas. The one immediately next door is suprisingly decent. Kind of like the way Adelitas was when Chicago was the bomb. Eager to see more though, I leave and venture on. Next two places are hellholes. I do my usual "walk in to use the bathroom then walk out and check out every girl in the room" technique and bail.

Across the street, the first place is whatever, but nicer than the hellholes. Heres the interesting part. The place next to that, which is like directly across from Adelitas, is a place called Mermaids. Never been there, guys at the door ask me if I want a massage, said lineup is free, so I say hell, why not. Walk into LEFT door, and then later, a bunch of girls pop in from the same entrance. Apparently, they strip or whatever next door, but offer massage service in the hotel. Unique concept to me.

Anyways, the lineup is not bad at all really. Girls are about as good as the second best adelitas chicks. There are some cute ones, and one real asian looking one who struck my fancy. Instead though. I get a 19 year old girl named Carina for a $40 one hour massage who had a lot of personality, and the best damn pair of legs in TJ. This girl turns out to be real nice/cool girl, and when she thinks the owner ripped me off, she runs out to him genuinely concerned to clarify (he had given me a $50 and a $10, but we thought the $50 was a $20). Relieved, she does her duty, very relaxing. At 40 min mark, she offers the menu. She wants $100 for FS, which is a lot for TJ, but the going rate for upscale massage I hear. Head back to Hong Kong. Place is so damn popping they charging a 1 drink (tecate can) cover for $3. When I walked in though, it was not as good. The hottest girls from earlier are all gone, no more seforum.xxxe dancing, and its gotten alot more crowded. All hype with no action. Leave unhappy.

Adelitas is now at this time its usual popping self. Walk in, see bunch of number one stunna's, and quite a few blonde white looking girls. I could've sworn was really a white girl (UCSD starving student maybe) but she was a little too chubby so I didint approach her. Anyways, nothing interesting me (I like petite girls with banging ass firm bodies) so I head to the street for the last run.

The street is even more popping then before, and by now Juan E. Law has cordoned off the street from vehicle traffic. See many girls fitting my flavor, but another monger grabs the one I am eyeing before I can. I buy a sprite, get a shoe shine, and wait for my turn. 15 minutes later, I approach her, and have to do a little work to get her to go to the room (suprisingly) , but end up with a very happy half hour. I have been to Adelitas five times - the latest about a year ago. The last few time I have gone in the daytime, and have actually walked from the border several times. Except for the bridge, which I walk briskly across, the walk is uneventful and reasonably safe. The best part is the daytime action in AB seems to be better. Fewer girls but fewer guys, so it has been easier for me to get the one I want.

You know, about the taxi thing, one time I actually too k the cabbies advice and went with their recommendaiton, I got taken to a place called "Lord Black". If you're an American, and you love American strip clubs, and love paying American prices for all the American non-action, then by all means , go for it.

Basically, it looks like a US strip bar, and costs just as much... something like $20 to get in and $5 for drinks or something like that. PLUS, the girls aren't even down to provide FS from what it seemed. VEry clean, very mild, and very much a waste of time if you are alread bothering to make the trip to TJ.

I don't just go to Adelitas and Chicago, so I tend to explore the area a bit. If I get a cab driver particularly persistent and he wants to take me to another place, I let him, and then say something like "hmm... me and my buddies are hungry, we're gonna go eat really fast first." That only works if I know the place is loca to the main area. If I remember right, Lord Black (Lord Whacked) was in the boonies.

OK, I've been to Adelitas enough:

Hell YES they accept dollars, as do ALL the businesses in that area. It's actually a bad idea to trade for pesos as the added confusion will end up with you getting ripped off. Besides, what you gonna do with pesos afterwords?

Here's how it works: You walk in (ignore the door men) and once you get past the curtain you'll enter a big ass room with two sections that is hotter than the deepest pits of hell. But thats OK, the girls are hot too.

OK, you'll see about a million guys standing around, and a million girls. If you want to sit and relax, good luck on finding a table. If there is a waiter in the area of a table, tell him table, and he'll sit you down. He will kick out any worker ladies sitting around. There is a sign posted up on the wall in the smaller room with drink prices. Very decent compared to some TJ places. Girls drinks cost more btw (like $8?). Tipping waiter $1-2 is plenty.

Anyways, there a millin girls sitting around. No need to be coy, everybody knows exactly whats going on in that place. Most likely you'll get a couple of em coming up to you gesturing to go next door (the hotel) or saying in meager english "go f#cky?" Or something like that. So yeah, basically they understand english. If you see a girl you like, don't be shy, and act fast, go to her and say lets go. It's as easy as that.

She'll walk you out the front, take you to the left (don't get intimidated for the million guys outside waiting for their buddies to pop out) to the very next door which is a hotel. The room I believe is like $10-13.. I forget. The girl will tell you. They will take her purse, give her a room # and "kit" (towel, condom,etc). Just follow her.

Usually, chick will tell you to undress, while she undresses. She will lay on the bed (lot of TJ dead fishes), and wham, bam, thank you senorita. I believe there is a 30 min time limit. Anyways, afterwords you should pay her $50-60. I think the going price WAS $50, but it has creeped up. There is no reason for her to be charging anymore than $60 unless you agreed upon some other stuff and did something unusual. I've had a friend cornhole a chick but that didn't cost him anything extra (heinas throw coochie at him all day). IF you want to be generous, tip like $5 or something.

Afterwords, there might be a guy outside (maid/htoel boy) asking for tip to clean the room. If you totally thrashed the room, give him $1 or $2 if you like, I dont think you have to. And if he isn't the one cleaning your room, just ignore his ass and walk on.

So, from the time I step foot across the border, I usually pay:

$6-7 for taxi (tip included) to Adelitas
$20 on alcohol (I tend to drink a bit)
$13 for room (with tip for maid/hotel guy)
$60 for the chick
and $6-7 for taxi back to border (just say "border")
$8 for tacos, soda, etc. (I dont trust the hot dogs)

For a grand total of about $115 for a pretty good night.

Many people would say I am overpaying already, so keep in mind you might be able to pull off the whole package for like $85 if you are on a budget and don't drink/eat as much.

And to touch upon the language thing again, if you use basic words like: f___ bl_wj_b, taco, corona, etc, you'll be fine. Dumb down your english and avoid the big words, and you'll be OK. Like I said before, everybody down there knows exactly whats going on (including the cops) so don't worry too much and have a good time.

If you're going to Adelita, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND parking on the U.S. side of the border... you don't have to worry about Mexican auto insurance, the federalies, getting lost, or the long line to get back to our country. Park on the U.S. side at the last exit (7 bucks), then walk across and grab a taxi (there's plenty right at the border). Tell the driver you're going to Adelita Bar and he'll take you there for five dollars. A few of the drivers will try to recommend other places, but this is mostly a rip off because the crappy clubs pay taxi drivers to try and get new clients. Stick with what you know.

I grew up in S.D. and have been going to Mexico for years and this is definitely the best system. Drive across that border and you're asking for a lot of trouble.

This post is meant to be used as an addendum to the wonderful FAQ already explaining the fun to be had in Tijuana. I visited Adelita Bar last night (March 3, 2005) and had a GREAT time!
The taxi driver at the border tried to convince me that Purple Rain was the best place to go, but I've heard this place is a dump so I declined. Now, the FAQ says Adelitas doesn't get going until 11 or later, but I got there just before 9pm on a Thursday and the place was packed. So packed, in fact, that my healthy tips to the bartender and servers went largely unnoticed due to the fact that there were so many customers. My advice is this: if it's slow, tip big to get that extra attention, but if it's packed, just a dollar. In fact, you can get a beer and a shot for 5.50, hand the server six bucks and consider it fair.
The place itself was definitely dude-heavy so girls didn't really approach any of the guys. They didn't need to, there were enough johns there to search them out. I got a seat next to the girls bathroom just like the FAQ suggested, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! Not just because you get to see a parade of girls walking by, but when the new girls come in for their shift, they change in the bathroom, so you have first dibs when they walk out. After about 30 minutes of site seeing, this exotic goddess walked out of the bathroom. I guided her to my booth in 2 seconds. She was about 5'7" (with heels) and weighed probably 115, ten of which came from these huge DD implants. She had a tight amazing body and also make some good conversation.
