On the phone and from the parking lot, the place looks like it might be a fun house, but when you enter the office, thoughts of pleasure quickly vanish. At the desk I was met by a mature Chinese lady named Lisa. Not only was Lisa wearing a pink nurse's unitorm including white nurses' shoes, but she was wearing a company nametag, hence the reason I knew her name. Lisa also looked pretty serious minded. My sense is that it is a legitimate place. The weird phone manner and signage on the window might be either a ruse to lure attract old hornies and then give them a sraight massage or it might be the owners unfamiliarity with advertising a massage business in Calgary. It is funny how some legit places still advertise in the Sun. Until I hear otherwise, I am going to stay clear of that place unless I am in a real need of a therapeutic massage.

The plot thickens. I went there around Thanksgiving and was served by the owner, Sandy. She gave me the most erotic non-erotic massage I have ever had. I was sure that I was going to be offered extras, but upon flipping, she covered me up. When I told her that I didn't need the towel, she said that she did. Despite the presence of the towel, she sure focused on the region near my groin. Massage ended without any touchy touchy.

I then went back a couple of weeks later, but no Sandy. There was a new girl working so I booked an hour with her. She gave me a very boring therapeutic massage. Her hands hinted at nothing.

A week later I went back again. Still no Sandy, but I ran into an old face who used to work at one of the shacks on Centre St. She certainly gives extras, so what was she doing at AM if it is a legit joint? She was busy, so I never got the answer.

I went there last week, but the girl working the desk was horrible! I don't mean her massage as I never opted for one. Her customer service skill was dreadful. When I asked for Sandy, she said that she wasn't in. She then focused on her smartphone and completely ignored me. She never even tried to sell me on her.

Finally, Sandy also owns a couple of places on Centre St. One is a known jack shack and the other is new, and I haven't heard any reviews of it. Is AM her legit shop or does a fella have to go a few times to establish his credibility before the real menu is offered?

Went there a couple of weeks ago and received a terrible
one hour therapeutic massage. No wondering hands and
not a good enough massage to go just for that.
The room was too cold and the girl in the room kept
yelling answers to the one outside and left the room
about five times never even bothering to apologize.
I asked if there is a shower available and she started
laughing and repeating "yes shower ,yes shower" then
opened the door and called to the other attendant saying
something in Chinese both laughing and then cackling in unison
"yes shower". I realized what they found so funny when she brought
a pail of cool water to wipe off the oil. They have no shower and the cool
water treatment did not improve my impression of that place.
Poor massage and poor attitude but they must get enough suckers
going there to feel no need to improve their service.
Will never step in that joint again.

I don't think Sandy owns place under a-Asian. It is run (& owned) by Nana who has been here about a year and worked at 3 shops on Centre, including a-asia with Sandy; maybe Sandy has part of business, but this is unlikely as it competes with a-asia..... Sandy used to be at Li's on Centre and did the tease; it is ok for 15 minutes but drives you crazy if longer. I stay away from her.

I connected Sandy with the shop below A-Asian because when I rang the number a couple of weeks ago, I am sure that I was talking to Sandy. The person I was talking to even made reference to AM, saying that if I was in the south, I should go there. Possibly Sandy is a co-owner or was just helping a friend.

I didn't know Sandy used to be at Li's.

The village idiot strikes again? What is "stupod"? Your entry leaves
no doubt about who the stupid one is.
...and now for the normal guys in here the The A-Asian on
1605 Centre Street on second floor and the AM have the
same owner. They tell you when you call that you can go to either.
The aren't attracting new customers at the nw shop
so they are offering a discount. The sw shop being new
is doing fine and doesn't offer any promotion until guys
realize it is a straight outfit.When you walk in they act
like there might be something on the menu but that stops once
they got you on the table. Very poor service and the constant
yelling at each other, leaving the room, answering the phone
and leaving the massage abruptly and without words makes for
a poor massage experience. i'd stay away.

It's now called Today Beauty Spa and has the same owner as AM . They just moved to the south side of the building.
The owner is constantly in a bad mood, yelling and arguing with the other mp while you're trying to have a relaxing massage.
She calls the mp out during the massage to have a yelling match outside your door. For a while she worked alone as every other
mp deserted her. There was one working there that was good but she couldn't stand the owner. She whispered to me that she thinks the owner is crazy. If it's a one off whatever, but to always ruin the atmosphere for your clients you must be missing a few screws. That mp is long gone.
Not worth going but for some reason they somehow continue to stay in business.
