I think it varies from day to day, hour to hour even. But I'll give my opinion.

Best buy IF you happen to find a gem would be on Calle 6 or the Dungeon. However, the AVERAGE quality there is lower, so there is no guarantee you'll find somebody suitable. The low end joints on Calle 6 is probably the most dangerous and have some truly ugly women, but not every place on Calle 6 is low end, though they are all relatively inexpensive. I don't know of any massage place that is a TOTAL rip off. Idem and Zona Blue are the most expensive, but devotees of both love them. Young tight girls can be found in any place but New Fantasy and Zona Blue have a good sized selection and you'll find out just how 'tight' they are only buy paying your money and taking your chances. Any. I've met girls ranging from 18 years to 50 years old. Older/nastier tend to congregate in the locals' places; Bilko mentioned calle 6, but YMMV.

If you avoid New Fantasy, Zona Blue, and Bar Idem, you get into the $20.00/hour range. Again, quality can vary from day to day.

While not a massage parlor per se, I wasn't real impressed by Bar Camelot. There are other places, in bad neighborhoods which are strip clubs but which have sex available on-site, such as Molino Rojo, las Arkadas, Flamingos and le Grillion, to name a few. There are also some parlors which don't get a lot of reviews here, such as V.I.P.s #1, and JetSet, next door to each other kind of behind the Dunn Inn. Again, your mileage will vary. The only thing that makes the MPs dangerous may be the neighborhoods in which they're located.

I have been to several MPs in San Jose and have only felt "ripped off" once...my first visit to Zona Blue in 2004, where the girl spent the 20 minutes I spent with her talking on her cellular rather than doing me. I cut the session short by 40 minutes and left. Almost didn't return; I was not happy. I was too new and dumb to realize that I could have complained to management.

Here's a hint, buddy. (shouting intentional) READ THE phucking FORUM. In case you're too blind/illiterate to notice, there's a complete list of massage parlors at the top of this section. Pick a name of a place from the list, then use the search function to find reviews. Just a thought. :roll: :

At first I though that perhaps your four questions were rhetorical. However, it appears that you have posted only 13 times and joined less than two months ago, so your questions were undoubtedly honest and sincere. Sometimes “newbies,” myself included, have posted questions, the answers to which are / were painfully evident to the veterans who religiously study the threads.

I concur with El Ciego and El Silencioso. If you are serious about practicing our hobby in CR, you should become a VIP member. I am both frugal and suspicious so I opted to join for one year only. I would not recommend that avenue. Get a life time membership from the beginning. It is well worth it if you are a serious monger.

From a practical starting point, I recommend these threads which I spent a lot of time reading. It will take some effort on your part but it is all pleasurable effort.
