i've got to tell you - i love this stuff! i just received my 2nd order today. the scents are so subtle yet SO THERAPEUTIC. my clients totally love it. and i love the mix of aloe and beeswax.

anyway, just thought i'd pass it on. : )

i really did love the 12 corners cream, till i noticed that all my sheets smelled rancid! i cleansed them really well, threw some away, and went back to my regular unscented cream and the sheets smell better.

there's NOTHING worse than rancid sheets...

I had a similar experience with Santa Barbara Massage Cream. I loved its workability and its purity of ingredients. But then after a month of use I noticed my sheets were horribly stained.

I've done a lot of research into creams lately and tried a lot of "purer" varieties. I've come to understand now why the main massage suppliers stick with "toxic" ingredients. If you like the simplicity and workability of a true cream (good combination of grip and glide, soaks into the skin without any greasy after-feel, doesn't stain sheets) then you need to accept that certain additives are necessary. If you don't want any additives touching your skin or the skin of your clients, then oil's really the best choice.

I'm lucky in that (so far) I don't react negatively to cream. My clients also prefer the feel of cream over oil. So, after months of experiments, I've returned to using the same cream I originally chose 5 years ago: Biotone Dual-Purpose Massage Cream. (Don't throw anything at me because I like Biotone!) I do keep jojoba oil available for clients with allergies or skin sensitivities. I use the oil on about 5% of my clients.

i'm with you bliss...i like biotone too. i used to use the dual purpose but for the last 4 years now i've been using the nutri-naturals creme and i love it. wouldn't use anything else unless i'm specifically requested to. good tip on the rancid smell though, not something you necessarily think about until it happens.
